Sculptor Avery Goldman creates work in foundry, printmaking, fiber, watercolor, and ceramics. Throughout her work, she combines soft materials with raw textures to produce visual noise. Avery mixes media to combine textures and the visual experience, expanding the physical boundaries of sound and emotion within music. Avery is developing a visual language that translates sound and emotion in music through mixed media using soft materials and raw textures.She is enrolled in the Studio Art program, awaiting her BFA in Spring 2027 at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Originally from Misawa, Japan, her family then relocated to Little Rock, AR. Captivating audiences to look closely and hear visual noise, Avery continues working within these media to enhance noise as visual emotion.
